Cyclists can easily spend a weekend exploring the various local visitor attractions by bike with numerous quiet roads  or for those wanting a traffic free experience, the Formartine and Buchan way offers miles of off road cycling opportunities stretching between Peterhead, Fraserburgh and Dyce.

 

There are off road paths that can be accessed from Goukstone that will lead you to Haddo, Tarves and Pitmedden, ideal for mountain or hybrid bikes or you can pick any number of routes from Goukstone that will reward you with excellent views.

 

Mountain bikers can head to the slopes of Bennachie or head to Pitfichie which has dedicated downhill trails for MTB’s.
