Amenities
We want your stay with us to be as special and easy as possible. Although off grid, each hut has its own hot water, shower, Swedish designed eco-toilet, wood burning stove and solar array for your energy needs; it really is sustainable tourist accomodation. We've even added a field kitchen too...but we think you should definitely try the local pub. The village of Methlick is a short cycle away with great local pub, excellent village shop, and the old church and grounds are worth a look too. Take a look at what we have to offer below.

With each hut equipped with its own shower room, guests enjoy the highest level of comfort while still being close to nature. Each hut also has its own porcelain eco toilet designed to be environmentally friendly without compromising on comfort.

There is nothing quite like enjoying the clear skies for a bit of star watching to the crackle of an open fire. Each hut has its own fire pit to toast marshmallows and create memories around.
Parking and Access
What Sets Us Apart
Our Huts are off grid and are in a rural location. Guests can park in our car park but will have a short walk to access our huts. It takes a little bit of effort to be this close to nature, but we think it is worth it.

To keep you warm and toasty
Our compact little Hobbit Stoves are a brilliant addition to our huts. With a small hot plate ideal for heating drinks, you'll struggle to leave the fireside after a hard day of exploring. What's more, with sheep wool lining your hut, you'll stay cosy all night.
Ebike Hire
A fun way to explore
At Goukstone we try to be as eco conscious as possible. Our E-Bikes are available to hire for half days, full days or for the weekend and are a brilliant way to explore the area. We can also arrange a picnic hamper for your day trips.
Breakfast
Start the day well
Our breakfasts will set you up perfectly for a day exploring the area. Each breakfast basket includes fresh bread, fresh juice, jam, butter, pot of tea, cafetiere of coffee or a flask of hot chocolate and will be delivered to your door.
Field Kitchen
If you don't want to leave.
Our small but well equipped field kitchens are great if you want to just relax and not move anywhere. With a small gas stove, reclaimed sink and running water, you'll be able to fend for yourself.
