About Goukstone
Run as part of our family crofting business, a warm welcome awaits you at Goukstone. Our eco-friendly shepherd's huts are the perfect base to explore or take in the stars on a clear night. Lined with sheep wool insulation, finished with larch and oak and warmed by a Hobbit woodburning stove, our off grid huts are fed with spring water and run off a solar array.
We'll deliver a breakfast hamper with fresh juice, hot drinks, cereal, yoghurt, fruit and pastries or homemade bread with jam to help kick start your day. You also have your own well equipped field kitchen and a fire pit to sit around while star gazing...
